Welcome to Social Room.

By registering with Social Room, attending any Social Room gathering, or using this website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. About Social Room

Social Room is a curated in-person social community that brings people together through meaningful conversations and shared experiences.

Social Room is designed for people who enjoy meeting new people, expanding their social circle and spending quality time in a respectful, welcoming environment.

Social Room is not a dating service, employment agency or formal business networking organisation.

2. Registration & Bookings

Registration for Social Room is free.

Registering through our website does not confirm a booking for any specific gathering.

Bookings for individual gatherings open separately and are announced through our Official WhatsApp Channel.

A booking is confirmed only after the applicable participation fee has been successfully paid and confirmation has been issued.

Social Room reserves the right to refuse, cancel or revoke any registration or booking in exceptional circumstances involving safety, misconduct or any situation that may negatively affect the experience of other participants.

3. Participant Conduct

All participants are expected to treat fellow guests, hosts and organisers with kindness, courtesy and respect.

Harassment, discrimination, abusive behaviour, inappropriate conduct or disruption of the gathering may result in immediate removal without refund and may lead to future registrations being declined.

4. Voluntary Participation

Participation in conversations, activities and social interactions is entirely voluntary.

You are free to participate, observe or engage at your own comfort level.

5. Photography & Media

Photographs or videos may occasionally be captured during Social Room gatherings for promotional or community purposes.

If you prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, please inform the organisers before the gathering begins. We will make reasonable efforts to respect your preference.

6. Intellectual Property

All Social Room branding, logos, website content and related materials remain the intellectual property of their respective owners and may not be reproduced without prior written permission.

Participants retain ownership of their own ideas, conversations and personal content shared during Social Room gatherings.

7. Event Changes

Social Room reserves the right to modify gathering dates, venues, timings or formats whenever reasonably necessary.

If a gathering is postponed or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, participants may be offered the option to transfer their booking to another gathering or receive an appropriate resolution at the organisers' discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

Participation in Social Room is voluntary.

Participants attend at their own discretion.

Social Room, its organisers, partners and representatives shall not be liable for any personal injury, loss, damage or inconvenience arising from participation in any gathering or related activity.

Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings.

9. Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time without prior notice.

Continued use of this website or participation in Social Room constitutes acceptance of the latest version.

PRIVACY POLICY

Social Room respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

• Instagram Username (if voluntarily provided)

• Information you choose to provide during registration or communication

By registering, you agree to receive communication from Social Room via WhatsApp, Email or phone regarding registrations, bookings, gathering updates and important announcements.

You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

This website may contain links to third-party platforms or payment gateways.

Social Room is not responsible for the privacy practices or policies of external websites or services.

REFUND POLICY

1. Registration

Registration with Social Room is free.

Completing the registration form does not reserve a seat at any gathering.

2. Booking a Gathering

Each Social Room gathering has its own participation fee.

Pricing starts from ₹299 and may vary depending on the gathering.

Bookings are confirmed only after successful payment.

3. Cancellation & Refunds

Unless otherwise stated for a specific gathering, booking fees are non-refundable.

As every Social Room gathering has limited seats, each confirmed booking reserves a place that cannot be offered to another participant.

4. Event Cancellation by Social Room

If Social Room postpones or cancels a gathering, participants may be offered the option to transfer their booking to a future gathering or receive an appropriate resolution at the organisers' discretion.

I made one deliberate change that I think is important: I replaced fixed pricing rules (₹500 + ₹1000) with a gathering-based booking model. That gives you flexibility to charge ₹299 for one gathering, ₹499 for another, or introduce premium experiences later without having to rewrite your legal pages.
